
Natural Resource Management
Water Conservation under various government schemes:
WMP – Associated with this program as a Project Training Organisation (PTO) and Project Implementing Agency (PIA), developed over 8500 ha of land in the Beed and Osmanabad districts and promoting allied agriculture and animal husbandry-based livelihoods. Promoted 84 SHGs and their 7 Federations operational on promoting NRM-based livelihood activities.
River Rejuvenation and water conservation in 15 villages of Kaij block in Beed district working on sub-tributaries of Bhobhti and Kewati rivers of main river Manjara.
Work on water conservation in five villages received due recognition on the famous TV show ‘Satyamev Jayte’.
Integrated Water Resource Management for farmers from 11 villages of Osmanabad district to help them overcome recurrent drought conditions. Works involved soil, moisture, and water conservation measures amongst 1000 farmers. Intervention has checked soil erosion, improved water retention capacity of soils, increased crop yield, and importantly stopped out-migration amongst participating small landholding farmers. Besides increasing groundwater levels, the program has increased income levels of farmers, assuring them land and water-based livelihoods at their doorstep.

Agriculture
- Piloting Organic farming: To promote traditional/organic farming practices and overcome the impacts of chemical agriculture and climate change, successfully promoted pilot demonstrations amongst 50 farmers in 5 villages of Kaij block.
- As an IWMP Livelihood Resource Agency (LRA) worked in Shrivardhan block, Raigad District. Work involved building skills and capacities of 5432 rural women and youth focusing on entrepreneurship, leadership development, livelihood enhancement, marketing, existing government schemes, and credit access. Beneficiaries also included 1564 women from 62 SHGs of 14 villages. Trained persons accessed government schemes to set up their robust micro-enterprises/livelihood activities.
- 388 farmers trained in climate-resilient farming practices to overcome recurring drought conditions.
- Soil and water conservation on over 5000 ha of land in the Beed and Osmanabad districts by working with government agencies covering over 1600 small and marginal farming households.
